It's is indeed wonderful that Paedo-Protecting, Cardinal George Pell, 3rd. Man in the Catholic Collegium (see the Latin meaning of exactly what Collegia were in Roman times), is now facing a Committal Trial for his actions during his time/s as Priest and Bishop in Australia. The Institutional Child Abuses Enquiry that has been a long time in coming and now the innumerable victims of these predators are at last being forced to face the consequences of their vile and despicable actions.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.As I mentioned in response to another post, I worry that there will not be a satisfactory outcome. Pell is employing an exceptionally capable lawyer (an atheist, as it happens) who will earn a handsome fee and probably get him off.

It would indeed be a very sad day for his victims and ALL others should Paedo-Pell get of scot free. And, in my opinion, his Atheist Lawyer should be hanging his/her head in utter shame for defending such scum.
Um ... I hope you mean the predators are facing the consequences rather than the victims. Although often in the past, the victims are the ones who got to be penalized.

Yes, I meant that the Victims were finally getting justice, of sorts, BUT nowhere near the justice they richly deserve.
Pope ( Protector of Paedophile Employees) Wankey Frankie and every other of his predecessors has been guilty of 'hiding' this criminality away for countless decades/centuries, condoning these criminal activities by both inaction even with knowledge of them and by 'fostering' them by simply 'shifting' the Predators around from Parish to Parish once they've been reported or simply forcing the victims/families to stay silent, etc.
Silence may be the Church's favourite weapon BUT it no longer is effective and the axe of Justice is now poised to fall on the Catholic Church and numerous other Churches as well.
