Excellent interview with Steve Bannon and Thomas Friedman from the NYT on CNBCs Squawk Box this morning which really explains the China negotiations that Trump is attempting to accomplish from what i would call a macro perspective. The protesting from farmers, Wall Street people and others from both the left and the right about the impact of tariffs on consumers and producers is short sighted. I encourage everyone to listen to this. Friedman is a Democrat so it’s pretty interesting that he and Bannon are agreeing.
