Remember Tienanmen,

The government’s count of those killed was 241 (including soldiers), with some 7,000 wounded; most other estimates have put the death toll much higher. In the years since the incident, the government generally has attempted to suppress references to it. Public commemoration of the incident is officially banned. Well, Socialists!

China is a communist state. Not socialist

No, it is not! Look up the definition of communism.

@zesty I am a socialist!
"socialism" in Business English. socialismnoun [ U ] uk /ˈsəʊʃ əlɪz əm/ us POLITICS, ECONOMICS an economic, political, and social system that is based on the belief that all people are equal and should share equally in a country's money: It is a culture that is closer to socialism than capitalism.

China is a communist state and it uses totalitarian control of the people and everything in it, but its economy is thoroughly capitalist these days.

@Amisja No, socialism means that the means of production are owned by the government.

@Amisja Countries have no money, people do. BTW, just a question: if somebody works twice as hard, should he be paid double? Or not, everything for the lazy and stupid?

@zesty Socialism involves the use of money that the government collects and how it is to be used for the benefit of all. It is not about pay for individual work. Everyone benefits from roads, firemen, natural disaster help, etc. There will always be some lazier than the others but there will be more that work for everyone to include the poor, the disabled and the elderly and the children. China is totalitarian...run by a single person that is power hungry...sort of like Trump...what is the difference?

@thinktwice This is just playing with the terms Social services and Socialism. There was no one single Socialist country where the money was used for the benefit of all. It benefited the party gangsters.

@zesty oh...like the USA...I agree...trump is a gangster...he and his cronies are getting rich...thanks for explaining...
