From my short stay in Seattle. We then went off to the Olympic National Park. We got to see the top of Mt. Ranier from the Bainbridge Ferry.

So cool! How much longer is your trip?
Was that escargot?
Are the colorful items blankets

We went off to The Olympic National Forest for 4 days. You, those were snails swimming in butter and garlic. That was wool

  1. Olympic Mountains from the summit of Mt. Townsend. 2012.

  2. High on a ridge in Olympic National Park, age 26. 1976.

Both photos were taken on the east side of the Olympic Mountains.

Love the evening violet light in the Olympics. This is from being close to the Pacific Ocean.

@LiterateHiker We couldn't do much hiking because my wife had a knee replacement in March. Still we got some 2-3 mile hikes in.

I love taking the Bainbridge Ferry - it’s such a change from the drive across Eastern Washington.

Mt. Rainier wrapped by The Enchantments. Taken from a small plane.

I had a flight like this over the Adirondack High Peaks. Those pictures are somewhere in my house.

Have a blast. The penensula is gorgeous, hopefully you won't get to much rain while there. Forecast looks ok for a few days.
