I've reached the point in my life where I'd enjoy having a travel partner, not necessarily a romantic partner.

I've been traveling with family, but I then have to shoulder the majority of the financial responsibility. I'd really like an equal.

I've been doing that for the last year. No romance involved, we just split the cost and enjoy each other's company for some amazing trips. Austria, USA, Portugal, Sweden and most of UK so far 🙂 Obviously I'm totally smitten but that's another story.

Do you mean occasional travel, or living on the road?

Occasional travel. I try to get away every couple months for a week.

My five year plan is one week a month.

@PhoebeCat Any particular places, or means of travel? Do you camp?

@tnorman1236
I like beaches. I'm in Kona now. Next trip is next month to Tahoe. I'm starting to plan something for approximately end of August for my birthday week.

I'm not much of a camper. I'm more luxury resort.

I want to learn to scuba dive and snow ski.

@PhoebeCat I think that kind of travel is out of my league. I'm retired and don't have a lot of money.

I'm really looking for someone who can pay for their own transportation and meals. The accommodations bill for double occupancy automatically, but having to buy all the plane tickets is difficult.

@PhoebeCat Right now my daughter and 2 dogs are living with me, so I can't really be gone much anyway.
