I agree that climate change, equitable wealth distribution, and universal health care are possible. According to psychologists about 15% of our populaion are psychopaths who are similar to Trump. Removing the dark glasses shows us people who will stop at nothing to control others. These people have ruled humanity since we evolved, and similar animals ruled our ancestors. I don't know if there is a way to satisfy such people so the rest of us can live ethically.

I well remember ..debating a former sister-in-law ..that the far-left needs to take off their rose-colored glasses and acknowledge the reality of various situations. Come to learn, those ‘rose colored glasses’ were her (and friends) defence from reality…

Had she been wearing ‘dark glasses,’ that would not have provided the ‘comfort zone’ she & friends apparently sought, fearful of becoming too depressed, thus choosing to remain in a ..new age fantasy land amid their own kind.
