Do you know any aliens - the outer space kind?
Star Trek fannies: I luuv 'The Orville' (probably available on your TV network) Pure fantasy but it doesn't take itself too seriously. You get a laugh and a message unlike other episodes of Star Trek which are sort of preaching.
Unfortunately, we are alone. The 'Warp Drive' that's suppose to fold space and get anywhere within a human lifetime would require more energy than we used in the last 50K years.

My dear Trekkies, we can still dream. Let me know if you've met an alien life form - and not an ex. We're into strict science here.

We won't physically "travel" to distant stars...but I'm impressed with SETI....a small group of scientists who have to write long dissertations to meagerly fund their Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence. Did you know that you can let "SETI" use your home computer to analyze data?

IMO...it's not a matter of IF we hear from them...it's WHEN...

Yes...you will have to leave your computer on.
No...it costs you nothing.
Yes...if your computer is first to find a signal...you will become famous.
No....it doesn't take up much space (10mb) nor time (2 hours a week).

Yeh, Seth MacFarlane, who wrote the storylines and produced the series is very talented person. Can't wait for series 3.

I'm still hoping they find the Stargates!!!! I'll look up Orville.

Orville is totally worth it if you're a trekkie at heart! Seth did it right...with just the right amount of wrong. 😊.
