He's been in politics way longer than Trump. Since at least 2001. That's before Trump even started "The Apprentice". Trump didn't infect anything. It's always been there. Right wing politics is just rising in Europe? Hitler anyone? And who before him?

From where? Trump already did one from NAFTA
Not so sure Britain would take a lead for future politics from Trump or America. Johnson has always been a peripheral character since Lord Mayor which is well before Trump.
Any Prime Ministerial issues are pretty inconsequential until Brexit is resolved as that will bring a totally new set of criteria which are, as yet, undreamed of.
Uncharted waters in coracles with the rapids ahead. Bumpy ride methinks.
