Today is the 30th anniversary of the Tiannamen Square massacre. 30 years ago the Communist government slaughtered, at least, 2,000 students protesting for the Freedoms we so blighthly take advantage of daily. To Our endangerment. Remember this..Bush 1 sent letters to the Chinese government saying 'We will Publicly denounce your actions, but Will Not stop Our ECONOMIC Partnership." This country Has Always put Capitalism before Human Rights..Don't Ever Forget that.. "Our" government will Always put Capitalism Before Your Freedoms..Always!

Thank you for the reminder. I watched that live on TV. It's outrageous how American capitalists have handed our whole economy to them. ☹

It is..yet everybody Loves Apple..I wonder if they understand that Bob Cooke is a "Yuge" Drump supporter. People have blinded themselves to the fact that China sprinted to technological 2nd place by stealing Apple & MacIntosh & Googgle tech.
Yet Bob and the others turn a blind eye to it because they'd rather pay slave wages to Chinese workers than pay American workers a Living Wage...

Remember the scene in "They Live" when Nada puts on the glasses and looks down at the dollar bill in his hand?

Not sure what freedom you are talking about, after Occupy Wall Street, it is pretty clear that the US government is not any better.

THHA Level 7 June 3, 2019

They gave their Lives for a smidgen of what we take for granted. I wonder how many of US would be willing to do the same..

I would not go so far as to say they "gave" their lives, that is a trite old saying that bends the truth a lot.

@THHA really?..So the fact that They Defied an oppressive government means Nothing to you..or perhaps you'd prefer to believe their government statements..or maybe you chose to ignore the history of the movement...They had the Choice to leave Tiannaman Square..They chose to Stay, I wonder if You would have been brave enough to face death for Your Freedom..

Keep wondering because I am not here to convince you of that, it would be a waste of my time to bother.
As for those who die in this type of situation, they generally do not go there planning to die, just like soldiers do not enlist to die. But it is the people like you who want to think of it that way. They did not "give" their lives, their lives were taken. That has happened here too, like at Kent State, and could have just as easily have happened during the Occupy movement . . . . it will happen here, because this country is no more democratic than China, and even more war-like than China, killing people in other countries in the hundreds of thousands, mostly non-caucasions, and dreamy headed Americans try to paint China as a rogue state, and America as a fucking "democracy". Time to wake up . . .

@THHA oh you are so incredibly insightful, I had Nooo clue that Ammurikka acts as Rogue state..thank you sooo much for the enlightenment..I must have been deafened by Bolten's beating of the War drum s that I just couldn't stop and see the difference..why your clarification has made you..a Hero..I am sooo Not worthy..

I will not argue the point of course, you said it yourself, I didn't.
