Most of that in minority dominant schools including Mexican migrants. 20 years in all Native American schools. In all that time I never slandered a group of students in my classroom because of their immigration status, their ethnicity, their race or their religion. I called individual student out on their behavior, but did not use racial epithets against them. This teacher is not an educator, she is a body taking up space and collecting a paycheck. She is not an educator

Be ashamed. For years. You don't know shit about what is happening in public schools. I do. At least a dozen of my friends are/were teachers in the public schools for their working lives.
You are so drinking the Kool-ade of anti-trumpness you let your fingers reveal how ignorant you are.
Lansing has one of the large populations of migrant workers in michigan, if not the mid-west. This has been the case for decades.
Two weeks ago 10 new children were brought into one of the schools that has a population of nearly 30 percent migrant children. These new children know NO english. They are living in motels. They have dirty clothes. And THEY ARE HUNGRY EVERYDAY.
Tell me how any teacher can accommodate the 30 children they already are trying to get ready for next year when new children who need constant immediate care arrive?
These children are terrified. CRYING!!!! It is abusive to put these kids into these classrooms. They don't know how to even ask to use the toilets.
Anybody justifying doing this children should be deported. (Mid-Sahara is my choice.)
So, great, another of those who has sacrificed her life trying to educate our children is gone. And HER students are crying that their teacher was taken away from them. How the fuck does that HELP anyone????

@Jacar I went to a school where several children were introduced from foreign countries over the years, including Greece, India, Poland and Japan. Some of these children didn't speak a word of English on their first day of school, but you know what? They learned real fast. Maybe it's not too late for you. Try reading a book. Or maybe, have someone read one to you.
I guess picking them off one by one is going to be the norm...

Racism and superiority complexes are not acquired at birth but they are taught directly by parents or by the environment. Even if you work on denying it growing up, if given scope and opportunity, what are taught and what is your upbringing surfaces. This woman got into what we call is a noble profession and she ends up doing a despicable thing about children she was supposed to give values to. What did other children learn here? Hatred, meanness, small mindedness?

I am appalled. Of all the people i have encountered on this site, you are one of the last i expected to align yourself with the total identititarians with obviously NO research as to how sick what the fuck-heads were posting.
A women who has dedicated her life to the education of children is crying for help, and all the imbecilia decry her as a racist, only because she used Trump's name.

@Jacar Our classrooms are full of children who speak other languages. Which is why our state puts ESL teachers in the classroom to help them transition. Kids learn fast and are soon assimilated. It is frustrating work but to say that the answer is to deport them when many are here legally is pure hatred and bigotry. It is a pattern with her, not just a bad day of one slip up.
As a teacher, she could have gone about it in a more positive way, starting at the local level and not making it public as she did. What kind of idiocy is that in this day and age of things going public and viral?...poor judgment on her part and her own making.
You are so immersed in your own demons that you can't even see the evil in others...I suggest you get some help in your own mental illness.
