Since I am giving up my security blankets...my books with all the wonderful quotes, that I will never be able to remember...I want to pass on one to be pondered here..."Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself." Chief Seattle Squamish (1787-1866)

Let's just be clear: men do not weave at all. Women weave. But I like the quote,. Sometimes, I will tell you the saga of the Three Norns, according to Norse history, the most powerful beings in the universe. The gods feared them,as well as all creation.

My favorite quote, and important to me getting along, is Ring Lardner's "'Shut up' he explained."
First I get the side-eye, and if I still don't stop talikng I get the quote.

Oh! That seems a bit extreem! Whatever, is churning in your brain...needs to express, itself! Sometimes, that isn't pretty either and can use a little light shined on it!
