Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Used to be a daily four fish limit for coho salmon here, I'd usually get it in the fall season until I filled my freezer. Kids got sick of fish. I never weighed them but the bigger ones were around 12 pounds. Chartreuse Mepps spinner from shore was very reliable.

29lb striper using shrimp. 2nd was an 18lb catfish with chicken livers.
I like to fish, or rather I like to flycast, but I have fished. My largest was a shark, but I'd been hoping for a salmon. One of the smallest was this fish (pictured) in Belize, but I carefully released him. He was far too pretty to eat!

From the bank miss. Landlocked fishing. Boat fish can always be larger. Bank fishing is a challenge.
