Of the people in your life that have hurt you the most, personally. What religion (or group) do they claim to be a part of? Be honest.

Thank you all, our family was just destroyed by a avid church going woman. As oddly my own childhood was. I find that Christians have been the worst, because they try and biblically rationalize there actions, right or wrong with word play. That could be very well because I live in the south east, and am surrounded.

My first wife from 1980. Screwed my friends, purveyors, my help and various truckers. Not sure the religion but she could have been the spawn of Satan.

Missouri Synod Lutherans. I was raised in the church, as were all my siblings. Was ex-communicated about 30 years ago. It was one of the best things to ever happen toi me, though I did not think so at the time.

Excommunicated! Wow, that is something to be proud of!

My ex, and he was raised Catholic but hated religion of any kind, so, no correlation at all

Religion had little or no part in my relationships, why do some people find religious beliefs such a big deal ? . its about the relationship with the other person that matters. i was married for 29 years and we never went to church once.

My ex is (was?) an atheist. An authority-hating, sociopathic atheist. He was cruel and abusive and an all-around shitty person. Atheism doesn’t make you a good person, it just removes some of the barriers.
