I have to say, anyone out there that is going to try and defend AOC after her 'Concentration Camp' statement, needs to get a grip on their warped sense of reality. That has got to be one of the most fucked up things I have ever heard anyone say. Having met and talked to a survivor about what they went through, I can assure you, that woman needs to apologize for that.

IMO they are more like interment camps than concentration camps but her use of the wrong word should not be garnering all this outrage considering all the other rhetoric being spouted

I disagree. Those types of camps are when there is a war. They should be distinguished from refugee camps or detention and relocation centers for the temporary accommodation of large numbers of displaced persons.

I don't want politicians apologizing or acting PC for the things they say. I want them to be real people and tell us honestly what's on their mind, express it the best way they can. It's terrible what your survivor friend went through, but being PC about it won't change what happened.
