Problem being that even if the GOP apologised and denounced lying... no one would believe them.
I agree, and most of the experts seem to. I did see a video posted today with Nazi concentration camp survivors addressing AOC to say that she is diminishing their experience by comparing it to the current situation. I disagree. No one is saying it’s EXACTLY the same in every way. But hey, maybe we don’t wait until they start mass extermination to raise hell about it.

That is exactly the point of my post...thank you!
Stating a fact is not a comparison, if I say there is a bull in that field, it in no way diminishes the tragedy of someone who was once attacked or killed by a bull.
