Which is why we won’t mind a bit that we no longer exist.

This is the very reason morons cling to the notion of an afterlife, the idea of oblivion terrifies them.
Personally I think of it as natures great mercy, the idea of immortality is repugnant to me.

In a world like this, definitely . . . .
