Fundamentalists don't think they're better than you... they think GOD think's they're better than you. That's why they can't be wrong… they're on the side of god. If you disagree with them, you represent Satan.

God always hates the people you hate. Funny, that.

I use to wonder how christians knew exactly what their god was thinking. Then I realized that in the absence of a real god the christians took it's place and became the god themselves. They can speak for god and know exactly what they god is thinking now because they ( the christians themselves) are the god and you better obey them lol. In god we trust? What they mean is - in ourselves we trust as the god. WWJD? can now be though of as What will we do now that we are the god.

While some say it's best to ignore crazy people I don't so if they are not polite I comment on their hygiene family practices heredity and ask why they advertise that their parents had same last name before marriage . The benefit of military background rich vocabulary and don't give a fuck attitude and training to back it up

I went to school with the author of this quote, his stand up comedy & radio show appearances are very witty.

His Twitter feed is a hoot as well!

That's okay. If you tell them you do represent Satan and invite them to your next human sacrifice, they'll be sure to stay away from you.

@Athena Have you tried that?

@Bigwavedave

@Bigwavedave

There seem to be a sprinkling of fundamentalist here too I have noticed. It's not that they believe in God but believe that they are God.

That is a tactic that Christians have been using for hundreds of years. One basically identifies whatever point they are making as serving the lord and everything they disagree with, as serving the devil. By doing so they don't even have to provide information to support their point because if you, as much as, question that point you have "sided with the devil". It is an attempt to be "automatically" correct in everything they say and do and if you have a different opinion then you are the anti Christ. Simple.

Thats very interesting. My thought is people in America consider themselves spiritual, not religious. Although, I don't see much difference between "a power greater than myself" and an "all powerful god".

You can't plant a new idea in a closed mind.

Well said. Its barren ground.

That must be very good for their mental health.
