A new campaign by a prevent cancer charity showing that obesity is second only to smoking in the cause of cancer.
I think the message should be even stronger and with our potential PM,Boris Johnson, saying he is going to reduce so called "sin taxes" it is going to get worse.

Yes it does sound like a bad idea on both counts not being a UK citizen I can't really say much but here in the US you have a hard time and small isles at Walmart if your weight is proportional to your height.

I have trekked round American supermarkets and the number of sugary treats are substantially more than in the UK. The number of obese people are probably in the same ratio but we are catching up fast.

There is considerable prejudice in the health care system, IMHO. I agree reducing 'sin' taxes is not a good idea, electing Boris as PM is a sin.
