The FFRF (Freedom From Religion Foundation) should make a big deal of insisting the IRS take away the tax exempt status from churches that mix in politics. If they (and we) don't insist, the churches will take the leniency as a sign from 'God' that they can go full steam ahead into political lobbying and into nullifying the First Amendment.
