For anybody that likes good religious satire I recomebd "Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal" ...this is the Audio Book link on Amazon. It is adult humor at it's best and a pretty good adventure novel too... you can listen to a sample to see if it sounds interesting.

Update: I am a big Audio book fan. Back when I had a one hour commute to work and back it got me through the long drive and my 12 hour night shifts too. Now I still listen at my night shift job - but thankfully I'm only 15 mins from home. I have an Amazon Echo at home and can listen to my Audio books anytime while doing housework. I love the way many readers do the characters voices. It is like the old time radio plays and can really bring a book to life for me.

This is an awesome book. I absolutely love Christopher Moore. His humor is hysterical, his cynicism is spot on, and his intelligent wit will keep you craving more of his books. I also have several of his audio books, my favorites being The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove, Fool (loosely based on King Lear), The Serpent of Venice, A Dirty Job, Secondhand Souls, and Island of the Sequined Love Nun. Fisher Stevens narrates several of them, and Euan Morton narrates Fool and The Serpent of Venice. My favorites are Fool and The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove. I just finished listening to both for about the fifth time, and I never tire of them. My abnormal psychology professor introduced me to Lust Lizard when I was in college. She referenced quotes from the book when discussing several personality disorders, and I was hooked on his books. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Christopher Moore as long as you have a great sense of humor yourself. Wonderful reads!

I second that recommendation. Lamb is especially enjoyable for those raised in religion as Moore uses all kinds of bible story references throughout the book (in a very humorous way). Christopher Moore is a fun author, and if you enjoy Lamb, you will enjoy his other works.
