In less than a day, even a 12 year old could prove that the earth is roundish and rotates. Three points define a curve. A swinging bowling ball on a rope will demonstrate the Coreolis effect. So why are there flat earthers?

because this current conservative craze has also bolstered an "it's OK to be stupid" push. I guess at some point that's ok ... stupid people are still people and being even halfway intelligent isn't everything. But IMO you at least want smart people in charge don't you?
