I have been 39 for a number of years now...
Happy Birthday and many more!!!
(How long does it take you to do that lovely hair? Looks interesting!)
About 30 seconds to a minute. I have ridiculously thick natural curly hair. So I don't need to do much, it just stands up. In fact this photo i took after getting home from the pool.
@PolyComrade Lucky you!! It is indeed unique...makes you look a lot younger than your age...so, another thing to celebrate!
@thinktwice huh, interesting. I figured the grey in my beard and hair made me look older than my age.
I never felt lucky about it btw, for most of my life I hated it cause I can't do anything with it other than what you see. For 9 years I kept my hair in a dread mohawk, then I had it shaved to the skin for about 3 years. Only recently let it grow back, and at times the heat drives me nuts since I am not used to so much hair
@thinktwice see, long fucking dread mohawk.
@PolyComrade I think there comes a time when one just has to work what you got...you are lucky to be able to try many things...men who are losing their hair also need to accept it and just keep it neat and clean...the confidence is what makes it ok for most women...be comfortable with your grey, your short, your long, or no hair!!!
BTW...again...very funky pictures of you hair...looks like you got creative...
Confession.
I mostly just posted this for the experience points so I can level up my character
Happy Birthday! I remember 39.... It wasn't until 3 years later I opened the box of Kryptonite and found out I wasn't immortal.
Hope you are still feeling immortal!
Lol. As someone with disabilities that are pain related I haven't thought myself invincible for a number of years already.
@PolyComrade I'm hip.... Psoriasis at age 28... Psoriatic Arthritis at age 35! I know pain... It lets me know I am still alive. I am nursing a stupid broken rib right now. It punctured my lung and the fluid filled up my chest cavity. Having surgery Friday for Loculated Pleural Effusion. This thing has created the most pain I have ever had. It's always something.
Happy birthday ....have a great day! Born in 1980 same year as my son Neil.
