Rant on Televised Political Coverage... I went to watch the debate last night only to find out it was only on cable. WTFF?

This should never happen. ALL the public has a right to full coverage of political processes and they should always be on free network TV. Grrr...

I watched (as much as I could stomach) for free online. It’s still a diluted mess with so many wannabes clogging up the works. It won’t really be worth watching until they thin out the herd a bit. I’ll start to get more interested when I can begin to tell whether Sanders or Warren will be able to take a bite out of Biden.

At this point it looks to me that establishment Democrats are wanting to lose to Trump again, and I’m guessing they’ll succeed at doing just that.

It was free on CNN.com if you have internet access....frankly I thought CNN was remarkably honest to admit Marianne Williamson was the winner with only 9 minutes time next to last while warren&bernie blather was 19&18 minutes but other wonks claim Mayor racist Pete nailed the reform = policy imperative....2nite the other selected hustlers of Presidential matching funds will drivel upon listening viewers ABSENT Senator Mike Gravel who has the required money in the bank but goal posts were moved this month after the Detroit dog&pony show was announced

@NoPlanetB if that's true Nader & Dr Jill should not be handcuffed out of so called debates.....it's all about corporations profits and advertising not voters rights to know THE TRUTH.
...the system has been rigged since John Anderson was allowed into "debate" 2 against one Carter v ReaGUN both Rethuglicans 1980

@NoPlanetB you're not ranting and I agree with you.....I want to know exactly what Ryan said that made Bernie blurt out another "damn" lie

It's TV. It's not about the people anymore, it's about the ratings. The movie "Network" is becoming reality. CNN "sponsored" the debate to get a higher share for valuable advertiser dollars. And of course those same advertisers contribute to who or whatever is in their interests. Best of all for them, we pay for it all buying products we see in advertisements. A vicious circle.

It is a lot of fun to attend a debate-watching potluck.......

Just be sure they’ve got a direct cable feed and are not attempting to ‘stream it.’ I left…
