Poll shows that immigration is the US's most important problem. Do you agree? If not, what then, I say health care and racism are just as important.
The overall deplorable state of our country,to begin with.
I"m more concerned about home grown incel, white supremacists with guns shooting up public venues & events.
Public opinion is driven by media attention and bias. Just imagine what other concerning things are happening without people knowing due to misdirection by the media.
Imigration maybe an important issue, but what is important about it? People's opposition to tRumps concentration camps? Children in cages? Yeah, that's important.
Climate change will make us go extinct. A flood of immigrants, poor health care and racism won't do that.
There are a lot of very important issues today. But we will be unable to make any progress on any of them until we un-rig our political system that has been bought and now controlled by the corporations and billionaires. We need to take our democracy back to do anything.
According to statistics, 25% of the US population will be aged 65 or over by 2055 [worldpopulationreview.com] - in other words, rapidly approaching, at or older than retirement age. If Americans want a large workforce (= taxpayers) to continue funding infrastructure, benefits and suchlike, immigration is a solution rather than a problem.
absolutely Jeni.
I have to disagree on the immigration thing. The biggest problem is the elected officials NOT dealing with it.
But deal with racism and everything else becomes a cake walk. Pitting Americans against each other keeps anything from getting completely done.
The answer to it all is EDUCATION.
Did you forget who is running the Department of education?
Health care (including for wonen!)& equal protection under the law for everyone is far more impactful on everyone's lives!
