On the demisexual idea, I'm feeling a rant coming on. Demi prefix is noting an inferior form or half way there. Someone told me I was demisexual about a year or so ago and I had never heard this form before. It was explained to me that it means that the relationship is primary and sex is seconday. I'm thinking to myself, isn't that just the good kind of sex, where people care about each other? Where actually your respect and concern for that person overrides your impulses? How is this half assed sex or inferior sex? How do people come up with this stuff? Ok, so then there is the part about only being attracted to the person after an emotional bond is made. I think if you are attracted to the person, you have to know the person first. If you really know the person, there is an emotional bond. Otherwise, sorry dude, you aren't attracted to anyone. You are just attracted to body parts. End rant.

Sexual attraction runs along a spectrum, everyone is different and none is more or less inferior. I consider myself a demisexual/sapiosexual; at one time I used to think there was something wrong with me because of this, but I've since grown to appreciate it. Also doing some research about it has helped put my fears and judgments to rest. It doesn't mean I'm less sexual or that I'm less attracted to people, just that my attraction grows more from an emotional connection. Because if I have that connection and the attraction is mutual, believe me, I'm all in.

To me, they both kinda run paralelle, theres sooo much diversity in this werld that its almost impossible for me to label anything, soons i label something, anything, boom, i get proven wrong in my own mind, sooo to end all this endless bach n forth in my mind, i have just let go of defineing anything and just let things grow and be as be,lol kinda like it is what it is, and when the question comes up what iis it? It just is. Hope u are well my friend, ive been kiked off fb, it is what it is,lol

I just checked and it looks like your profile is up

@thinkwithme well I was thrown in fb jail for calling one of trumps base a "trumtarded jakkkass" in a deadco fb group, i guess the mods ganged up on me and arranged it,idk, it was the 2nd time in amonth going into fb jail for returning attacks from trumps base so i deleted the fb app, im pretty sure im out of the fb jail by now, but since my blood fam are on there i decided to not delete my profile, im on twitter now, that way i can directly criticize trump and his admin

@Moondrop sometimes think we need more time away from the internet anyway. Need to be nicer to ourselves and look at the stars sometime

@thinkwithme indeed, i say that to myself constantly, then im like ill rest when this baffon is outa office, lol so i do a little of both, i occupy my time with more constructive things, and only go online perodically, multitask, lol

The thing is, what you are describing when you talk about respect and concern and caring for one another pertains to elements which should apply to all relationships, regardless of whether that relationship is sexual in nature or not. These are things which should be given to another individual automatically until such time as they prove themselves no longer worthy.

If one goes through life automatically entering in to relationships presuming that the other individual is unworthy of respect, concern and care until they prove themselves to be, they’ll have a hard enough time finding friends. Let alone sex partners.

People are going to come in to everyone’s life who will do them wrong. That’s just the risk one takes by putting themselves out there. The up side of giving respect, concern and care up front is that you get to more easily and assuredly weed out those who prove themselves wanting and keep around the ones who don’t.

It goes without saying that this also applies to sex partners. If one goes through life waiting for that one person they THINK won’t end up giving them the run around, they’ll always find an excuse to avoid physical closeness with another human being and will probably waste away their years of peak sexual prowess alone.

So in the long run it’s just best to roll the dice and put one self out there. You’ll roll snake eyes more often than not, but the times you wind up rolling sevens makes the risk worth taking.

Universal human rights are a given. Not the point but thanks

Henry Miller spoke on this very topic interviewed in the movie : " R E D S ".....he was defending Louise Bryant in love with both Jack Reed and Eugene O'Neill....."the romantic quality of fucking" back then "seems absent nowadays" between partners of 1970's

I'd love to see a clip of that.

@thinkwithme Warren Beatty interviewed all the survivors of Greenwich Village Portland Oregon and the summer CT beaches of 1916 ....I shall search YouTube for " THE WITNESSES " in REDS and any out takes

There is nothing unusual in this ....why do I think that it is being used as a pejorative term. Women in particular are wired to be emotionally invested in a potential mate before becoming interested in having a sexual relationship. There are naturally some women who do not fit this profile, but I would say the majority do. This is not the case with the majority of men, they are more inclined to want to have sex without emotional ties, again following their natural inclination to mate and reproduce as often as possible. That is where the expression “men think with their dicks” comes from.

Naturally, you might be inclined to murder someone for their kill. Evolution is a thing

@thinkwithme I don’t think our evolution has progressed too far in this respect,

@Marionville I agree not far enough
