I'm going to brag just a bit about my library card, because this is where I regularly use mine.

As an introvert, the library is my happy place. It's quiet, free, and not just for books, either - online courses, arts & crafts events, author meet & greets, etc. Definitely underappreciated and underrated.

You're safe here....
BTW, I've memorized my library card number. Good for on-line reserving of books.

@AmiSue
Easier than attempting to locate my card.... 😆

I'll keep this a secret this one time.
But... GOOD FOR YOU!

I remember living in the library as a kid. Talk about opening a whole new world. I traveled everywhere and did everything there was to do. I lived in so many ages and met so many historical figures.

Try not to scare the rest of those in Waco! Keep flying below the radar!

@StrongBow You just let them worry. Stand back as though you could "think them to death!" Then... when they are good and scared... Buy an "Easy" button from Kinkos and re-label it to "SMITE"... Be seen walking around town with this button. Go into the diner and put it on the counter in front of you. If anyone gets out of hand... Be seen ALMOST pushing the button, but pull back and shake your head before you do. Leave a fair tip and walk away.
