The amazing thing is so many of these people are so in denial they would swear on a stack of bibles they are not White supremacists and genuinely believe it, but would insist they are simply defending the right to free speech and the right to call (ironically) "A spade a spade"
It took me a long time to get it through to my own father that calling
a rude man (who had shoved him in a door way) A rude Black man was not the same thing, even when the man had been black and rude, connotation that him being black made the offense worse is racist by pointing out the ethnicity was beyond him as a product of his generation, till I reversed the situation and asked what is worse some calling you
"an old bastard" or an "old cockney bastard"
At which point he yelled " what does where I come from have to do with it! Typical northern ponses to think you are better than us....." short pause "Ooooh I see".
