I always wince when somebody compares /equates Trump with Hitler.
Hitler was a quasi-religious ideologue who wrote it all down in "Mein Kampf", so that everybody knew or could /should have known what he was planning (to conquer Europe; to exterminate all Jews...) . Trump has no ideology whatsoever, his racism is just an instinct, he would be too stupid to make a full-blown ideology out of it , let alone write a book ; and his basic trait that explains most of his actions is narcissism, not fanaticism. He is not even a Conservative. He does not plan or even intent to kill as many Hispanics or People of Color as possible. He is being admired by racists so he gives them what they want to hear, so that he can bask in their admiration, but he is not dreaming of invading Mexico to exterminate the hispanic "vermin"....

I viscerally detest this guy and have to switch to another channel whenever his face appears on TV - but he is not the new Hitler of the twenty-first century.
