This time of year, unless you would like living in a sauna, Florida is no place to be. Lows in the last 3 mornings have been either 82 or 83 degrees. The humidity is terrible and the combination of heat and humidity is truly oppressive. The air is so wet and heavy that you could grow something in it. I grew up in Florida without air conditioning, and today I wonder how I survived it.

It was so humid the other morning, my reading glasses fogged up, the moment I stepped outside!

It may well have been cooler when you were younger. I lived in Hong Kong for a few years and rather liked the tropical heat, especially when you could get out of it. The trick is move slowly and drink lots. Either that or spend all day in the pool.

Hahaha. I feel you. I grew up in Louisiana. Now I live at 1600' in the Georgia mountains. In the six years I've lived here this has been the hottest with temps reaching 85

@Antidronefreeman compared to Louisiana and Florida I live in the mountains. Since I live on a fixed and meager retirement income places to live are limited.
