Bernie Sanders says criticism of Israel shoudn't be confused with anti-Semitism. I wholeheartedly agree. If you agree, then you are welcome to join Jewish by Culture. Everyone welcome regardless of religious beliefs or not.

I agree. Criticizing a government is not the same as criticizing the people, but there are some Jews who will play the persecution card when they feel it will ward off criticism. This in turn makes people tune the Jewish people out or get irritated when they complain of real prejudice.

I would go farther and say that criticism of Judaism, Zionism or Israeli politics is not Antisemitism , no religion or political philosophy is above criticism. Antisemitism is not the criticism of the Jewish faith or it's affiliated political stances it is the unreasoning and unfounded hatred, to a genocidal or prejudicial degree, of the Jewish people. such behaviour is evil and criminal whomsoever it is directed at.
To draw a parallel
I despise Roman Catholicism but my best friend and business partner for thirty years was a Roman Catholic and my heart broke when he died, my great grandfather was a Jew, I in no way hated him, I still think unquestioning belief and faith in any religion is despicable and delusional especially when such organizations are often a run by exploitative business hierarchies, that does not mean I want to see anyone dead or oppressed I simply want their nonsense exposed and illegal practices subject to the same laws as every other corporation or individual.
