It appears to me that she has generations of experience and know-how!

She should be governor of Georgia right now.

It the "New" Old South..

My way of looking at it, there's nothing "new" about the Old South. The new phenom is Stacey Abrams, for her reasoning, articulation, and strength. Her determination is the new trend, which I hope will become successful.

I've lived in Georgia since the mid 80's and it wouldn't surprise me if repugs are working diligently right now to figure out a way to underhandedly win future elections. As long as the voters are kept dumb and methed up the repugs are going to be hard to push out of office.

I lived in Atlanta for 20 years watching the re-emergence of Jim Crowe was, and Is despicable..

@Charlene It would be difficult to go through that Jim Crowe experience, or watch it happen to people.

The republicons aren't just working to win future elections, they are in power right now because of rampant and obvious election rigging. The problem with that is: once the election system is rigged there's no way to fix it.

@dan325 yes, and it will require new strategies. Voting won't work when voters are systematically purged and votes aren't counted.

Gets more people educated and aware of the anti Democratic tRumpthuglicans tactics. Awareness is the first step in fighting back.

Throughout the states, I hope it makes a great number of people aware.

Real democracy?

Abrams is a real sincere person, and with her battle to stop suppression and her moral support, many more people may have their freedoms in true democracy.
