Assuming you still squander your time trying to infuse Christians with a modicum of rationality, what examples/arguments do you use to try to nudge a believer toward critical thinking. My favorite was pointing out that it doesn't seem godly for for a supreme being to demand a human sacrifice in order to forgive a "sin" the god had previous knowledge his flawed creation would commit. I'd follow that up by telling them the Lenny Bruce joke that suggested that if Christ were of the modern era, Christians would be wearing little electric chairs around their necks! Oh my, the absurdity of it all!!! πŸ™‚

Sounds like you’re squandering your time with all that palaver!

I just ask for clarification until they have no idea where to go from there.

Alternatively, they might be wearing hypodermic syringes.

I have never wasted a minute of my time trying to convince a believer why I think they are wrong. I can find ways to waste my time that are enjoyable, like the time I spend on this site.

I find that gentle mocking that they can see as funny, but still questions the existence of their god. My favorite is i slept like god during the holocaust.
