Finished tiling and grouting the backsplash in the basement kitchen. Have to clean up now and silicone spray the grout and then put the plates back on the outlets and switches. Got the grey tile from the Restore for $15 and the white tile was also on sale at the Tile store for $35. Had exactly the right number of tile for the kitchen, the bathroom and the laundry room. Lots still to do but progress is being made.

Looks great, fresh & clean.

@ToolGuy Yes, I like to do neat work too, to save the big clean up afterwards. Much better.

Here is the last kitchen i did.

@ToolGuy Yup i even moved the gas and duct work and plumbing. I do anything that doesn’t absolutely need a permit haha.

@ToolGuy Awesome! Lots of access to electrical outlets is a big plus in a home.

@ToolGuy I live in a 3 unit home100 years old. I went into the first floor and the tenant had a heater and electronics running on a light duty extension cord plugged into a two prong adapter! I immediately ran him a new circuit and outlets and explained fire risk. A week later i saw he was running an extension cord under a door!!!! It was starting to crimp... i was like “your going to burn this place down!!!
