How the El Paso shooter ordered his gun
The look in his eyes, I have seen it many times while counseling men in jail and prison.
They have deluded themselves to the point of denying everything that is contrary to what they BELIEVE, so that they may KNOW that ONLY what they BELIEVE is true. That is insanity.
Racism, like religion, is one of the lowest forms of ignorance. It is based on beliefs stemming from hate and exaggerations, and is rooted in fear and insecurity.
They murder to impress "Jodie Foster " the extreme form of male entitlement....100% sexually inadequate and incapable of conversation with a real woman these perpetrators feel powerless to rape so these purchase extreme weapons to empower their extreme narcissistic delusions of being a hero to themselves and to their hoped for servile female to breed the next generation of racist sexist boys and white purity daughters
More proof the NRA is about global gun sales NOT LOCAL MILITIA defending from a neighboring state invasion or federal tyrannical government
Clarification: FFL stands for federal firearms liscense, CMP stands for civilian marksmanship program, CC means credit card. I think he thought i was talking about CCW. That is concealed carry weapon permit.
Thanks!
CC was conceal and Carry?
I used to have CWP which is a Conceal Weapons Permit!
It expire when overseas, hence did not renew it or need too!
Since you were in the CMP did you ever get your M1A.
I received mind over fortyfive years ago.
@of-the-mountain I was never in CMP. Only reason why I can't join is you need to be a member of a CMP range. I have 5 farms I can shoot at at any time (I don't shoot if there are cattle around - spooks them). Not worth the dues. Plus I want to inspect a firearm before I buy. I have had them delivered, but all were new.
@TheGreatShadow
wow!
Things have changed for CMP!
I just had to join the CMP and go to their target events to qualify by shooting the targets and get the points!
I do not rember it costing that much or having to belong to a particular range or gun club. That was over fortyfive years ago, when I received my M1A.
I did not participate much after that, I was working contracts, hence did not have the time for all of that anymore.
Thanks for the update.
@of-the-mountain there is a lot of fine print as well. Just buy one here locally. Plus from what I understand, it's an online auction. You get a POS that doesn't work? Your stuck with it and can't sell it.
This is nothing new. If you have a ffl, you can have a firearm shipped to your house. If not you can have it shipped to a FFL dealer. They charge about 50$ to do the paperwork. There are other ways. If you join CMP you can have one shipped to your house per year. You can also get a collectors permit. Needs to be 50 years or older, or have some historical signifance. I think you can buy 5 a year. I've bought ammo online. All I had to do was provide my DL and CC. I never had to sign for it. One box was just a plain cardboard box. The other had a sticker saying "cartridges, small arms". I've bought gun parts online as well. Oswald bought both firearms via mail. Hell, a friend had an m7 shipped to him. That's a greanade launcher.
Edit: USPS will not ship firearms anymore. UPS will. I have a permit, so I could walk out of a gun shop in 15 mins. I think it cost like 5$.
Maybe you should explain what an FFL is and CC, along with CMP.
Oh yes and the ATF, now called the ATFE.
Most or should I say the vast majority do not have a clue to what these alphabet soup letters stand for!
Since I was a CMP member and earned my M1A, and used to have a CC, I comprehend what you are stating!
Each state has different laws for a CC and it is not valid in most other states and countries.
I used to travel all over the US and overseas with my various weapons. Since right before the 9/11 event, I retired and have stopped my many excursions here and abroad, hence I have not kept up with all the new rules, regulations, exclusions, and laws.
@of-the-mountain by CC I meant credit card. A CCW is almost useless. Lots of places you can't take them in. If you have to use a firearm in self defense not having a CCW is the least of your worries. Unless you bend over to get something and they notice it. Happened to a friend at Walmart. He had a CCW at the time, and the police couldn't do shit. You also need a permit to cross state lines. It's also like 5$.
The more things change the more they stay the same!
Lee Harvey Oswalt ordered his Carcono Rifle Mail order, delivered by the U S Postal Service in 1963 to his home In Plano, Texas
Also the pistol. I was typing when you posted this.
