People aligned on the right, politically speaking, have endeavored to discredit citizens who question the official version of events as being “conspiracy theorists”. Granted, there are theorists who are beyond the pale, who—for example—think Elvis is still alive, dyeing his now gray hair jet black and is occasionally seen shopping for cumquats at the local Winn Dixie. While I admittedly have a wee tendency toward paranoia, there have been incidents in which the government’s versions of events have, to me, seemed fairly obviously bogus. Think: the John F. Kennedy assassination and September 11, 2001.

My questions to you are: do you, perhaps clandestinely, harbor opinions or beliefs that run contrary to what the government wants you to believe? Have you been made to feel (by readily identifiable forces or by shadowy forces) intimidated as far as expressing those opinions or beliefs in public?

I harbor a belief OPENLY that "the government" is not a homogeneous entity that has a set of myths "they" want us to believe. You're probably thinking of The Ruling Class, which controls what you see and hear.

Yes I have quite a few contrary beliefs including those surrounding the events you mention. I rarely bring them up in general conversation but haven’t experienced intimidation when I have.
