So, I just went food shopping and bought two wonderfully fresh basa filets, about half a pound each... The last time I made them, I made broccoli, cauliflower, sauteed green and red peppers with onions and garlic.. So my question is, what other yummy sides would you recommend for basa filets?

Filets of Barramundi fish will go well. Scietific name is Lates Calcarifer.

I find most steamed or baked fish goes well with a nice home made coleslaw.
I love Basa too, I always a have fillets in the freezer in case I can't get fresh.

Cornbread.

Cherry tomatoes.

Sauteed asparagus

2

Teriyaki glaze, garlic green beans, and sticky rice.

Sounds interesting... Any details? And what is sticky rice? What about beans? Lol you know im the bean queen!

@Cutiebeauty
Basa is a catfish
So make dirty rice with black beans and a gumbo of sautéed veggies to spoon over both

@darthfaja OK, now I'm confizzled...

@Cutiebeauty
Sorry, that’s 2 different ideas
The second one has beans for you

@darthfaja I did not know that about basa. I did a little check and found out that "swai" is yet another name for this Mekong River catfish.
