It has been said that the US and the UK were two nations divided by a common language, funny! It now transpires that we are two nations united by having utter assholes representing our interests who are out of control! The people need to get a grip on their own interests or it proves democracy is dead.

I have yet to read it but I believe journalist John Soper's book "If only they didn't speak English" about the cultural differences between the USA and the UK shows that we are quite different.

Werent they both elected by the people?

Johnson wasn’t. He was elected by his party as leader after May stood down. Not an ideal state of affairs but if there was a General Election every time a leader of the elected party stood down it would not only be unconstitutional, it would be expensive and cumbersome.

Westminster elects a party, in principle, to govern not a Prime Minister, so no change of government, just different faces.

Good point, two television personallites who were used by fascist bastards for their own ends!
