This sounds like a criticism by the elites and intellectuals of a populist president. You can disagree with or hate a leader but cannot forget he is elected democratically. This is where the elites get it wrong:

  1. A president does not have to be educated or an intellectual.
  2. A leader does not need depth or knowledge of any issue. He can appoint experts and advisers for it.
  3. Electing an educated, someone who has deep knowledge of issues does not mean he or she will be good action president
  4. Presidency is not a super-nerd award

We have had elites and intellectuals in the White House but have hardly been able to accomplish much. The qualification of president is that of a doer. One who can get things done. Obama accomplished ZERO, ZILCH in second term. Trump does not have the House in the Republican control but he is not waiting like Obama did. He is pushing ahead, often blasting Republicans for not doing enough.

Just like when you go to an interview, you will get the job by flashing all degree certificates. The employer would like to know what you can actually do on the ground. He would interested in knowing what you have accomplished in your previous work.

Trump was elected because voters were tired of the same old, lying Washington insiders who were not doing anything but just squabbling all the time and it is very likely that Trump will be elected for the second term for the same reason. What we think is his weakness - breaking norms is actually is his biggest strength.

It is ok to criticize the president on issues, policies, positions but why is he is personalizing it? If you do not like his policies or what he is doing, go to elections and defeat him. Why this personal hatred?

As usual... Well spoken Dan Rather

Spot on the money!

That was my opinion of him when he first ran for office. Trump will baffle you with bullshit but when you claim this is what he is doing his supporters say you are full of anger and hate. I thought it was only a difference of opinion.

Trump's shade of orange is becoming more vibrant.

I'm convinced it's a transformation from a partial human to a complete terd.

I think the transformation is complete 🙂

@TheoryNumber3

Almost. It still speaks. Once it's a full terd it will be much better.

@Athena LMAO!! I like you! But as I've said before, it's not much different since he talks out of his ass anyway.
