While this may be the work of atheists, the anger shown reflects someone who was a believer and is outraged by the deception once they realized they had been duped. My personal 50+ years experience with atheism has reflected less hostility and more humor in our retorts. Like the Pastafarians and Satanic Temple. This vandalism reeks of revenge, not just an expression of the truth.

I believe the person or persons might be crying out for help, but not from you. As far as redemption people are not savings stamps.
