I am more convinced than ever, some believers prefer to look stupid than admit the contradictions and the mistakes in their belief.
Oh yeah, they understand the debate and the non-believers' arguments very well, but still, acting stupid is a MUST in their belief's terms and conditions.

We invest a lot in our beliefs, sometimes our entire lives. I think the last thing we want to do is admit that we've wasted our lives holding onto that ideology.

Most believers don't even read the whole bible. It's like a license agreement. Scroll to the bottom and they click, "Agree." Religion is a crutch for the weak-minded.

In order to preserve their beliefs, they must totally shut out anything that contradicts them. To us it looks like they are being stupid. To them it looks like they are being good believers. Believing- despite all the evidence to the contrary--is a badge of honor to them.
