This is from a relatively rare book "Teach Yourself Greek" Published by David McKay Company of the English Universities Press LTD., London. Not sure what year it was published, it is not copyrited, but would estimate somewhere between 1950 - 1966 If you search ebay for it you might be able to find a copy, that is where I got mine. I am a big fan of the Presocratic Philosophers, particularily Democritus.
If you have not heard of Xenophon's Anabasis, you may want to check that out too . . . sometimes on ebay you can find an interlinear of such a book . . .
Tell you what....I think I'm done with trips to Greece! I love the people and the food (and even some retsina....) but...that's enough. (SO MUCH LAMB! arrrrrrgh!)
Best pronunciation of Ancient Greek I have ever heard, actually sounds authentic.
