What?? It’s dry as dust over here.

It’s not fair!

We have had next to know rain for weeks. Got some yesterday.

I think our last measurable rain was at the end of August.
We're under drought conditions here, and everything is turning brown.
That normally doesn't happen here until late December, and only lasts
a few weeks.

@KKGator we really need more rain now. But I am enjoying the sun shine

@GreatNani I'm ready for some overcast skies. It's been over 90 degrees for weeks.

@KKGator yes I get that! I am ready for fall.

Jeebus girl! Be careful what you ask for. We had over 5 inches of rain in September, and we might get 5 more inches today into tomorrow. This is on top of the flooding the cut major roadways and destroyed acres of cropland. Some folks have started to look for that old dude with a boat with all those animals.

We're in a drought. It was much needed.
Sorry for your weather though.

You can have ours. It has been wet here for the whole month of Sept. Set a record or close to it. Flash flood warning today until tomorrow.

This is the first time it has rained in a month.

@KKGator I feel for you, super dry weather can be just as bad as too much rain. Stopped raining but one more round tonight, supposed to be light. A number of road and bridges were closed this morning. Ground is saturated and my sump pump is running every 30 seconds with a constant stream of water pouring in, it is slowing down from this morning. I am up on higher ground but people down the street and the hill are faring much worse.

@Mark013 That's the weather for ya. No happy mediums. It's usually either droughts or floods, or heat waves or blizzards.
I've yet to live anywhere where the weather is perfect.
😉
