At a sports bar with some friends tonight and a man approaches my friend with a bottle of whiskey he bought at the liquor store next door. She knows him slightly from the neighborhood. He is clearer got a good buzz and asks her to open his $90 bottle of whiskey and asks if we want some. No one does. He leaves the bar, comes back 20 minutes later looking for his whiskey. No one has seen it and he obviously lost it when he left. We all felt bad for him but really, who goes to a bar, then leaves and buys expensive whiskey and then comes back? And where did he go when he left?
Sounds like he already had too much , plus that was a risky move, no bar should allow that at all
Who brings whiskey from outside into a bar? Here it is illegal!
@creative51 the bar tender just said I am pretending not to see that.
@GreatNani that bartender was obviously not an owner....not only could they lose their license/get fined, but suppose the guy got drunk, drove, and injured others...the bar would be sued even if the liquor came from outside....so awful of this "friend" and the bar needs better employees!
Alcohol is a wonderful thing. It brings out the intelligence in people.
you would get kicked out of pups in the UK for bringing booze in from somewhere else
I thought so too. But the liquor store owner and bar tender were both helping him search for it so I guess they are ok with it
@GreatNani wow thats nuts xx
