My greatest contemporary influences are Krystal Ball, Cornell West, Chris Hedges, and Richard Wolff. What do they all have in common? They all consider average working people first. They all appreciate that “we the people” means something other than the wealthy and the inappropriately powerful.
Is it any surprise then that they have all expressed a preference in the 2020 presidential election? They all prefer Bernie Sanders. And so do I.

I also like those people you mentioned. But to add to the list you gave, this is a list of scientist that influence me: Nate Hagens, Chris Martenson, James Hansen, James Balog, Dennis Meadows and Jared Diamond.

To the Trumpers "we the people" means people of the Republic and other Trumpers. Division and hatred has pretty much done away with Democracy for any of them. One such person in social media cusses me and calls me all sorts of names saying he protects his president and I am hiding behind my military service. I laugh at him and tell him to go protect his president.
