They comment that it’s like being gay was. Actually, within the church it’s like being gay with HIV or AIDS. To the church the meme is incredibly infectious and lethal. Unfortunately as with the AIDS epidemic congregating with other gay men was as effective at transmission of HIV as reading and studying the Bible is in causing atheism among Christians.
