There is a quantum difference between Elizabeth Warren and most politicians. Most politicians see politics as a game , the aim of which is to create and maintain personal, ethnic, and partisan privilege. To Warren it is a quest to maintain and improve our constitutional democracy and to make sure that government serves ALL of our people damned well.
That being the case, yes she would gore a lot of the fat oxen of privilege, but the country would be better off for it. What we need is the courage to join her in the quest.

Warren and Bernie have similar leanings. The depth and thoroughness of her ideas far surpasses those of Bernie.
That's a big assumption about what "most" people go into politics for.
I've encountered and dealt with a number of politicians in Michigan, and all of them felt they went into politics to serve their constituents. The way they do that might be vastly different from the way we think they should, but it's still a sincere belief.
For instance, I'm sure many Republicans sincerely believe based on economic and philosophical principles that we'd be better off as a nation without Social Security and Medicare, and that the free market takes care of everything much more effectively than government programs.
They're wrong, and their heads are up their asses about it, but it's what they sincerely believe.
