To former believers. What was your perception of atheists while you were part of a religion? As for me, my warped shallow mindset viewed Atheism as all about constant casual sex, drugs and arrogance.
I was never really a believer. As a kid, I just knew the whole god thing didn't make sense. I didn't think about what nonbelief meant about anything. But I knew that religious people went to church and that belief was the "standard" position and was associated with being "good".
You are allowed to change your mind for almost any condition excpt for co-ercian of any sort. It is one of the things that makes it us truly Human
