Okay, we've been hacked. And our identities have been used to write millions of comments that support giving the Internet to corporations. I'm calm. I will not allow myself to get enraged. Nope, none of that. BUT, I will take some action. You might want to do the same. Read this well-researched article.

I neglected to realize that most people don't have time to read the article. Sorry. So here's the executive summary:

Approximately 1.5 million people had their name, email, and other information hacked and used to write fake emails opposing net neutrality.

According to limited data on the now defunct Cambridge Analytica a great many of us have been hacked in various ways to support something that is not true. They say CA is gone now but the data is still somewhere. Many in Quora Digest believe that their name and info is and can be used to gain support for false ideas. I am inclined to believe it. When were we hacked? We do not know. A small example of this is that I view a website on my computer and later Facebook shows me this website again.

I guess if the recipients of those emails know they’re faked those messages won’t have much effect.

Im confused. Who was hacked? You yourself?

It's true there are alot of fake accounts and trolls out there trying to spread outrage.
