According to limited data on the now defunct Cambridge Analytica a great many of us have been hacked in various ways to support something that is not true. They say CA is gone now but the data is still somewhere. Many in Quora Digest believe that their name and info is and can be used to gain support for false ideas. I am inclined to believe it. When were we hacked? We do not know. A small example of this is that I view a website on my computer and later Facebook shows me this website again.
I guess if the recipients of those emails know they’re faked those messages won’t have much effect.
