I am a Progressive. I am also pragmatic. In a Sept Gallup Poll 31% of registered voters are Democrats, 29% Republicans, 39% Independents. Less than 50% of Democrats call themselves liberal. This means you have to get a large number of moderates to win. This is why Biden leads national polls which include all voters not just the Democrats. He is a known quantity and they feel like there will be any surprises. This is not a liberal country. It is a centrist country. It may and I hope it is more liberal in the future, but we ain't there yet. I will vote who ever the Dems nominate. I will be fine with any of them.
